Terms and Conditions

Our salon

The head spa treatments at our salon are not medical activities performed for treatment purposes.

Reservation

Our salon is by advance reservation only. Please make a reservation in advance by phone or via our website. Please note that we do not have a system in which customers can appoint a spa therapist.

Manners

Our salon provides a space where all customers can receive our treatments comfortably. Please refrain from using mobile phones and bringing in food and drinks. Smoking and drinking are prohibited in the salon.

About the time of your visit

If you arrive exactly at the time of your reservation, we will be able to guide you in without making you wait. If you are going to be late for your reservation, please contact us by phone in advance. In this case, we may shorten the treatment time for late customers or may not be able to provide treatment, as it will cause inconvenience to the next customer with a reservation. Even in such cases, we will still charge the regular fee for the treatment. Please note that our salon is by advance reservation only.

Cancellation on the day
(within 24 hours)

100% of the reserved course fee + Consumption tax*

* - If you consult us on the day to decide which course to take, or if you use a SPAVITA ticket, a cancellation fee of 13,200 yen (tax included) will be charged.

 - If you a gift card, a Benefit’s digital ticket, or a coupon ticket, a ticket for one treatment will become invalid.

Cancellation on the previous day
(within 48 hours)

5,500 yen (tax included)

No-show cancellation

If you do not show up at our salon on the day of your reservation without contacting us and more than 30 minutes have passed since the time of your reservation, we will refuse to accept your future reservations, regardless of the reason for the no-show cancellation.

Precautions and requests for treatment

- Finish eating at least 30 minutes before you receive a treatment, and refrain from drinking alcohol before the treatment. - If you feel unwell or pain during the treatment, inform the spa therapist of it immediately. - Remove your glasses or contact lenses during the treatment. - We will check your health condition before the treatment. Please understand in advance that, depending on the results, we may have to refrain from providing you with the treatment. - After the head spa treatment, blood flow in the head improves, and symptoms of rashes may worsen again. Therefore, if you are currently undergoing medical treatment for a rash or have already recovered from your symptoms, be sure to consult a medical specialist before receiving a treatment. - Please note that our salon is unable to deal with skin problems that occur after the treatment.

Cancellation of treatment

- If you behave in a way that causes a nuisance to other customers - If you harass our salon employees (or perform nuisances, such as violent language, violent behavior, and malicious complaints) - If you behave in a way that offends against public order and decency.

Please note in advance that if any of the above applies to you, we will cancel your treatment and refuse to accept your future requests for reservations.

Valuables

Please take responsibility for managing your valuables. Store your valuables in the locker provided and lock it. Please note in advance that our salon is not responsible for theft, loss or damage of valuables.

Treatment fees

The prices listed include consumption tax. Any changes to the program or treatment fees will be notified at our salon or on our website.

Payment

We accept cash, credit cards and QR code payments (VISA, Master, JCB, AMEX, DINERS, au PAY, d Payment, PayPay, Rakuten Pay)

Special notes

We are not able to provide treatment to the following customers. - Those with infectious skin diseases or suspected of having them - Those who are ill or have recently recovered from a illness - Those with previous diseases who do not have permission from their doctor for the treatment - Those who have a fever due to a cold, etc. - Those who are pregnant *Excluding those in the stable period (16th to 27th weeks) - Those with unique hairstyles (hair extensions, cornrows, dreadlocks)

Others

Depending on the treatment menu, we may provide you with clothes to change into. If you would like to blow-dry your hair by yourself after treatment, please let us know in advance. Hair straighteners, curling irons, styling products, etc. are available at the salon.

Disclaimer

Our salon will not be held responsible for any damage incurred by customers in relation to the use of our services, except in cases where causes of such damage are attributable to our salon.

Cancellation policy

In order to provide treatments to as many people s possible with the limited number of seats available, head spa specialty salon CARINA GINZA will revise its cancellation policy on Saturday, March 1, 2025.

We know that you adjust your precious time to make a reservation, but we ask for your understanding in advance that we may not be able to provide you with the course as requested by you.

On the other hand, there are some customers who cancel their reservations on the day or without notice. The time you have reserved may be the time that another customer requested. Our technicians also prepare the rooms and look forward to the arrival of the customers who have made reservations.

Therefore, we have established the following terms and conditions to help customers understand the details of their reservations, in order to reduce the number of cancellations on the day and no-show cancellations and to allow as many customers as possible to receive treatments with the limited number of seats available.

Please use our salon after you agree to the following terms and conditions in advance. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Cancellation fees
If you cancel your reservation accepted by the head spa specialty salon CARINA GINZA within 48 hours prior to the date and time of your reservation due to personal circumstances, we will charge you a cancellation fee in accordance with our cancellation policy.

Cancellation on the day
(within 24 hours)

If you contact us to cancel or change the date and time of your reservation within 24 hours prior to the time of your reservation, we will charge you 100%* (plus consumption tax) of the fee of the course you reserved.

* - If you consult us on the day to decide which course to take, or if you use a SPAVITA ticket, a cancellation fee of 13,200 yen (tax included) will be charged.

 - If you use a gift card, a Benefit’s digital ticket, or a coupon ticket, a ticket for one treatment will become invalid.

However, if you cancel your reservation due to sudden illness of yourself or your child or family member, we will charge you a cancellation fee of \5,500 (tax included).

If you cancel your reservation due to illness two times in a row, we ask that you give top priority to the health of yourself and your family members, and that you refrain from making an advance reservation and make a same-day reservation instead.

No-show cancellation

If you do not show up at our salon on the day of your reservation without contacting us and more than 30 minutes have passed since the time of your reservation, we will refuse to accept your future reservations, regardless of the reason for the no-show cancellation.

[Examples of cases where a cancellation fee is charged]

  • Changing the time of a reservation on the day We accept changes only if there are available seats for the time you request and thus your reservation can be changed. (Please note that we can only move up the time of your reservation, and cannot move it down.)
    However, if it is difficult to adjust the time of your reservation, it will be treated as a “cancellation on the day” and we will charge you a cancellation fee.
  • ancellation due to late arrival If you inform us in advance that you will arrive late, and as a result, it becomes difficult to provide you with our service, your reservation will be treated as a “cancellation on the day.” If you do not show up at our salon without contacting us and more than 30 minutes have passed since the time of your reservation, your reservation will automatically be treated as a “no-show cancellation.” In either case, we will charge you a cancellation fee.

[Examples of cases where a cancellation fee is not charged]

  • Illness of our staff If it becomes impossible for us to provide you with our service due to illness of our staff member scheduled to be in charge of you, we will contact you as soon as we become aware of the illness and discuss rescheduling your reservation to meet your needs as much as possible.
  • Suspension of public transportation services If public transportation services (trains, planes, bullet trains, buses, monorails, etc.) are significantly delayed for several hours or uspended due to a disaster or bad weather, please contact us as soon as possible.

Notification of cancellation fee

We will send you a bill to the email address you registered with us.

Payment of cancellation fee

Please pay the cancellation fee using the link of the Square payment we will send you. We ask you that you make payment on the same day.
